Mora
Hello, I'm Cindy Mora, a 3D modeler from Colombia on a STEM CPT permit and currently residing in New York. I'm a gemini and I occasionally check my horoscope for a dash of optimism, though I don't take it too seriously. Over my life, I've embraced a wide range of activities that have shaped who I am today. In the past, I was deeply passionate about playing basketball (Kobee!!), a sport that taught me perseverance, discipline, and the importance of teamwork. Outside of my professional life, I've cultivated a love for the arts, with a particular fondness for exploring captivating museum exhibits.
I come from a tight-knit family that shares the joy of celebrating Colombia's soccer games. My family, including a loving younger brother and supportive parents, means the world to me.
My work
Modeling Reel
I've loved modeling since I start 3D I've been interested before in life drawing (as you can see in the gallery down here) and I loved the idea of capturing a moment with drawing, like it's etched on my brain now. When I found 3D I liked that I could mix my analytical side and my artistic side.
Lighting Reel
I started loving lighting as it became more and more present in the jobs I was doing. Eventually it mixed well with my love for moments and what they evoke. I try to use lighting to my advantage to represent mood and what I want the viewer to see
Ante-Meridian
I wanted to make a thesis that expressed how it feels to live with trauma and how good memories could be tainted by our brains. Wanted to make this environment and lighting heavy, so a lot is hidden there! Enjoy!
